She also leaves a sister, Carol Donaldson and her husband John, of West Middlesex four brothers, Ronald Glaser of Brookfield, Ohio, Dale Glaser, of Sharon, William Glaser and his wife, Trudy, of Harrisburg and Robert Glaser and his wife Faith, of Indian Trail, N.C. Surviving are four children, Connie Dufford and her husband, Michael Versaci, of Woodstock, Ga., Richard Dufford and his wife, Linda, of Sharpsville, Stanley Dufford and his wife, Rose, of Hermitage and Gary Dufford and his companion, Donna Brodish, of Sharpsville her beloved grandchildren, Twila Kolberg and her husband Korey, of Marietta, Ga., Emma Handziuk and her husband, Bradley, of Colorado, George McConnell III of Jasper, Ga., Morgan Dufford and Garrett Dufford, both of Michigan, and Lindsey Dufford of Pittsburgh four great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren, including Nick Vaughn and David Peters. Watching and feeding the wild birds gave her many hours of pleasure. Sally was an avid reader of history and the classics and a follower of all sports. She was a member of the Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society and a life member of the Mercer County Historical Society. Sally enjoyed genealogy and was co-compiler of the Mercer County Cemetery Inscriptions. In earlier years they sailed Lake Erie and the Chesapeake Bay on their 30-foot sloop, Salacia II. They also visited the 50 states and most of Canada. In later years, she accompanied her husband, when he worked as a consultant, to various places including Puerto Rico. ![]() ![]() Sally was a stay-at-home wife and mother. She was a 1951 graduate of Hickory High School and, one week later, married Robert C. Dufford was born July 14, 1933, in her grandmother's home in West Middlesex, the second of eight children to the late Carl James and Gladys (Metz) Glaser.
